I have commissioned Donna Morris to carry out various reports in respect of children in care under 11: child permanence reports, step parent adoption reports for Court, sibling assessments and later life letters. Donna’s written work is excellent and her information collation is appropriate and timely; feedback from foster carers and Social Workers is that Donna is able to work directly with children and families, understands the importance of confidentiality and is empathic. Donna meets deadlines.
Donna’s rate is comparable to other ISWs I have commissioned to work with in the past.

Donna has a natural flair for absorbing research and theoretical aspects that link to practice, also a sensitive and empathic approach that would assist those she assesses or supports to feel at ease. Her written work is well constructed and clear and she worked diligently as to achieving a deadline.
Donna champions and advocates for children to remain with siblings, stay safe and to be healthy. Although Donna is professional and polite she can be a formidable force for good if she wishes to secure a much needed service or as to challenging other professionals in an assertive and focused manner.
Donna is friendly and her commitment to safeguarding is commendable, there were no concerns as to her social work skills and she forged good relationships with the families she supported and supervised, attending social trips, and creating child focussed and analytical annual review, matching, safer care and risk assessment reports.
